Tee For Me Giveaway

Okay, as many of you know TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!! Exciting stuff, huh? Well, not so much when you are a mom caring for 2 kids coming out of the flu ickies (yes, that's a real word).
For me, birthdays have always been special. I cant help it. They just are. It's that person's day. Just theirs. I always try to make the people close to me feel extra special, appreciated and loved on that day.
Well, today was wonderful. I got loved on by my kids, Clark made me coffee, Katie and Bryson took me to lunch (this involved them taking $20 out of my purse) and wrapped it up with an amazing dinner and evening with Clark and the kids. Not to shabby, huh?
Anyway, Here's the scoop:
Ready?
I want to hear a short (Seriously. I have a short attention span :)) story telling me something good. Something about family. It can be sad turned happy, a hard time or a wonderful sweet time. I need a pick me up!
Katie and I will sit down and read them and then SHE will pick. I'm not going to give her the names because I cant trust a 5 yr old to be unbiased.
You will then win one free shirt. Come on! what can you lose????

Ready, Steady, GO!!!!!!!
You have until Friday at noon EST to leave a comment/story

The other day, my brother called me and, for the first time EVER, talked to me like I was his big sister. He confided in me and we laughed and just had a great time talking. It absolutely, without a doubt, made my day. :)

Without a doubt, the best part of my day, the part that picks me up no matter what kind of day I had, is "dance party time". After my two year old son gets out of the bath at night, we go in his room, crank up the music and dance around. His dad and I teach him some moves and he teaches us even more. It makes us all feel good and is a reminder of how lucky we are to have each other.

Here's a quick story about new love:

So Zac is dating for the first time and REALLY likes this young lady, Lindsey. He had decided after several light hearted dates to get to know one another, he would ask her to the movies. He had decided that night would be the first time he held her hand. While in the movie, Tangled, he offered his hand, palm up, for Lindsey. She placed her hand in his and he was on cloud nine the rest of the night!! : )
